Hey I'm Laura!
I've been a 3D modeler and texture artist of sorts since graduating from Ringling College in 2010 with a BFA in Computer Animation. I'm originally from Chicago, raised by a family full of industrial designers and engineers. I went to college in Florida, spent a year with GM in Detroit, and have since made a home for myself in Los Angeles. Between jobs I travel overseas as much as possible but while in LA you can often find me in the desert up all night shooting the milky way and admiring the stars.
I've been a previs modeler here in LA for 7 years on features for Disney, Universal, Marvel, and Warner Brothers and was also an environment modeler for Dreamworks on their Dragons TV series. In addition to regular previs work I'm well accustomed to working closely with the director, production designer, and art department team to fully flesh out and help design environments and characters. My favorite projects allow me to have a hand in both the 3D conceptualization of a film and also work out the more logistical questions raised during previs.
